Who ran this company? You know the one, they had those lovely covers on they're releases, green and lavendar with a reel in the foreground with the companies logo on top.
If anyone knows who it was, does he still exist (alive) today? I would love to contact the person.

I don't know who ran HOLLYWOOD FILM EXCHANGE,I'll have to do a little research to find out but it was not Charles Tarbox. Tarbox ran FILM CLASSIC EXCHANGE .

Charles Tarbox,"who was there from the beginning",ran FILM CLASSICS EXCHANGE. He had tons of early film material from which he made his 8mm and 16mm copies, not always of good quality but oh,so rare. Here is only one example from his loose leaf multi page catalogues.

Yeah! There's that beautiful box. He tended to release his stuff on quick fade Eastman, however, so while the print quality was a little sharper than Niles, it has still faded, sadly.
