I learn so much from this forum. My new problem is:

When I feed film it does not catch to load. In a second or two, it just gets stuck. No better if I push feed button harder. Front and rear take ups turning. I installed a new belt. I trim the film with supplied trimmer.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks very much. I am half way through my transfer project.

Open the front cover or film gate and check for a piece of film inside the film channel. Also make sure the film is not curled up a bit at the end. if it is just try bending the film downward at the very end so it will self load.

Thank you Pasquale! I did find a small piece film leader in the automatic feed system. Now the film loads. Sadly I have a new problem.

Following the user manual, I pulled out the lens because it was so dirty. I pulled on the focus knob, and pulled out the lens - cleaned it, put the lens back in, making sure the focus knob pin engaged the lens guide. I know the pin is engaged because it heard the pin click into the grove. Now nothing is in focus and the focus knob just keeps turning with no effect. What have I done??

Thanks so much.

When inserting the lens turn it to the right (away from you) until it stops and push it all the way in until the face of the lens is even with the case. Then turn the lens in the opposite direction (towards you) until it snaps into the grove.

Thanks so much Janice - I don't know how you forum members do it - your advice solved my problem after I had poked at the lens a hundred times. Now back to projecting the films!
