A local monthly magazine ran a story on my film collecting hobby. I mentioned the Cinesea in Wildwood and the Syracuse Cinefest in the article. I am not very computer savvy so I don't know how to post the digital version but if you Google "Coast Monthly Galveston" you should be able to view it.

Regards.

Great post Guy and just love your explanation as to why you prefer to watch your movies in celluloid as opposed to modern digital methods. Something I feel that is difficult to actually quantify but feel you do it very well indeed! [Wink]

Well done Guy! Your article is a great advertisement for reel film collecting, and I am sure it will cause many readers to look further into the hobby.

Thank you all for your kind words. The description "rigid unyielding grid of tiny squares" I borrowed from an Eastman Kodak ad comparing film to digital. Pretty much everything thing else is in my own words.

Great job, Guy, I envy some of those projectors you have!

Guy...a very nice article and you were very articulate. Good to know we'll see you in Syracuse this March. You should really take pics of some of your equipment and films, ect and post some here...or bring to Syracuse to share with us.

Thanks Gary. I really look forward to attending the show in Syracuse again. Four days of watching old movies with fellow enthusiasts; looking forward to everything but the snow.

I will probably go to the show in Columbus as well in May. I plan to return to Wildwood in April of the following year.

Best Regards.
