I must confess that I love this trailer and is probably my most watched super 8 film of the last few years. Its awesome to have it on Super 8.

However Ive always been curious as to whether there were any copies made in scope. My copy from CHC, although excellent, is letterbox. What about copies from SO and the reel image, were these in scope or just the same in letterbox?

Graham - I'd highly recommend it, I've got the 16mm version and although my copy is a little on the dark side, the colour and sharpness is great and it's a nice item to astonish audiences who think film releases are a thing of the past! Another bonus is that although it's the same trailer as the CHC cinema release, the titles are in English.

Thanks for that info Larry and Adrian.

Now I know it was released in full scope but it seems a puzzle why they are different as I assume they both came from the same German lab.

I still like the CHC release but I will contact Steve and also keep a look out on Ebay as well as it would be great to get a scope copy on super 8 AND 16mm as well.

I think it's basically because CHC released the flat trailer some time before the US scope release. If the scope one had been first, I don't suppose there would have been a lot of demand for a flat version.
