HELLO EVERYONE TODAY
I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE EVERYONE WHO CREW UP WHEN STORES LIKE PEERLESS/ WILLOUGHBY OR ETC. USE TO HAVE FOR SALE THE AMERICOM 8MM AND SUPER 8 FILM W/VINYL RECORD AND INSTRUCTIONS TO SYNC. THE SOUND WITH THE RECORD AND FILM.
MY FIRST QUESTIONS I NEVER KNEW OR I GUESS TODAY I AM WONDERING, WHO WAS THE FOUNDER OF THE AMERICOM 8MM INC. COMPANY??
DOES ANYBODY HERE COULD SHINE SOME LIGHT FOR ME, AND FOR EVERYBODY WHO LOVED AND HAD THEM WHEN THEY WERE A KID.
I AM CURIOUS?
AND ALSO I REMEMBER WHEN MY 9 TH BIRTHDAY, I RECEIVED A AMERICOM IN 8MM , COLOR WITH THE SOUND (RECORD) TITLE (ULYSSES) STARING KIRK DOUGLAS , BUT I WOULD LIKE ALSO TO KNOW IN EACH BACK OF THE AMERICOM, YOU WILL SEE MOST OF THE RELEASE TITLE AND ONE SAY, KIRK DOUGLAS MEETS THE CYCLOPS IN ULYSSES ? SO ARE THEY 2 PART FILM, MY ULYSSES THE COVER AS REMEMBER WAS LIKE RED AND KIRK DOUGLAS WAS IN A CREECK SOLDIER UNIFORM, AND THE TITLE WAS JUST ULYSSES? SO I WONDER?
ALSO THEY MADE SEVERAL TITLE IN COLOR?
I KNOW
1 ULYSSES
2 HORROR OF DRACULA
3CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE BIRTH OF FRANKENSTEIN?
4 FACE OF FU MANCHU ,
I AM SURE OTHERS BUT MY MEMMORIES , DONT GO?
ALSO
I WOULD LIKE SOME IN COLOR IF ANYBODY OUT THERE PLEASE LET ME KNOW?SALE OR TRADE? I AM EASY
ANY INFORMATION OR KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE CRATEFULY APRECIATED YOU ALL?

I believe Americom only released the one Ulysses digest.

THANKS FOR SOME QUESTIONS, I THING STILL THEY WERE 2 DIFFERENT COVER FOR ULYSSES, I WILL TRY TO CHECK ON THAT MORE,
AND IF YOU HAVE ANY COLOR FOR SALE DOUG? OR ANYBODY HERE ON THE FORUM, I AM WILLING TO BUY ?

I loved those Americom 200 footers...and the records added to the fun..great days.

Found this clip on you tube - with the sound of the record...you can tell the sound is slightly slower...good stuff though.

A friend of mine had The Three Stooges in Snow White, the flexi disc was never in sync, and made worse by the Hanimex Super Zoom projector (his Dad's) which would jam certain films in the gate...that print was full of burns...My 'Battle with Talos' was ruined by my Hanimex Super Zoom projector, I found that you had to take some pressure off the gate, but then the picture would go in and out of focus, Ken films ran OK but Columbia and Americom was a no, no...
