Well based on yesterday's share on here, I took about trying to find the root cause of the latest T610 dilemma, the non working motor on the latest 610.

I swapped out the suspect motor and placed it in my old faithful 610. It worked.

So I'm thinking Motor controller IC or elsewhere on control board.

Had a look around, all looked like brand new as per the rest of the machine, original Chip etc, removed all plug in looms to the board and other associated board, gave everything a clean, then put it all back...hey presto, it works again! [Smile]

Quirky buggers these projectors with plenty of electronics, but just goes to show, not every fault is that much of a fault with just a little investigating.

Was a useful exercise anyhow as it gave me an opportunity to gain some known good values from the board to the motor for no doubt, future issues! [Big Grin]

Now back to the bigger issue of the pre amp fault on Ch 1 [Confused]

So far since owning this one it has had around 4 big faults all which are now solved barring the pre amp fault.

1/ Machine would not thread beyond the bottom loop
2/ Machine would not project backwards, film just slipped through the gate.
3/ No sound on channel 1 but 2 perfect and 1 works perfectly from any external source. Also will not record on Ch1 due to the above fault.
4/ Motor would not turn, large buzzing noise before automatic cut off circuit kicks in. (as what happens when the belt snaps to protect your film)

3 down 1 to go! We'll get there. [Wink]
