I hoped that Kodak itself would present their "Super 8 Revival" there. Unfortunately they won't be there - only a company named "KodakAlaris" UK-based.
But today I got a reply to my e-mail to Kodak Germany. It seems to take some more months until the new Kodak camera will get on the market. And they're thinking about to develop S8-Films in Germany again !
But the big question is: will they focus on S8 negative films only and then transfer to DVD f.e. ? Or - hopefully - will reversal film + developing be available for a reasonable price ? I'm still a fan of viewing by projector.

By the way: does somebody have a german or english manual for the ELMO Editor Sound 912/S ? Print or PDF-Version...compensation for outlay possible by paypal

Regards,
Bernhard

I think it would be smart for Kodak to certify/contract out to businesses that are still processing film before investing a lot in their own processing facilities. Clearly there is still some interest in Super 8 but I'm not sure if anyone knows what the real market potential is.

That way they aren't hurting the people that have kept Super 8 alive and those places can remain if Kodak decides that there really isn't a big market for Super 8.
