I ran into something rather interesting the other day ...

(another one Shorty would probably enjoy and no doubt, already knows about) ...

I took out a fairly early Blackhawk print of "Cops" on standard 8mm and enjoyed it as i always had.

I then took out the super 8 scored copy that I also have ...

... and noticed that there was a good deal of footage that was added to this version of "Cops"!!!

I had never realized this, (or been too busy to notice before). I did notice that the added footage was not up to the same quality as the original footage, but it was quite interesting to see that footage. I think most of it dealt with the stubborn horse going up into a building ...

I read that some prints, notably Blackhawk ones, omit the "goat gland" sequence.

I have a Griggs print with the gland bit - Blackhawk's pre-print was a reissue, sans gland - Shorty
