That's one of the very early ones. The Galaxy Counters is it Terry Wogan narrating? Might even not be numbered originally.

Those advert reels are great, we got a fair few now, never in my lifetime did i ever think i would pay money to watch adverts Dont you remember waiting for the film to start, then the pearl and dean opening would come up and you'd think, Jesus how much more crap before the film Now they are not only nostalgic but the artwork and photography that went into these can be appreciated much more now looking back, (without the aid of CGI rubbish), great stuff.

I must admit, I too am a fan of the old nostalgic advert reels from the 70's 80's and 90's. I have a fair few now but would always add more when they surface.

Tom some of we cinema projectionists used to think the advert reels were a right pain in backside.
We had to check them all every week just not for film condition and splices but also we had to make sure the actual film content matched up with the advertisers sheet.
This was okay in a single screen cinema or triple but a downright bloody nuisance in a Multiplex with 9 + screens or more. Very time consuming indeed and something we could well do without.
The running times of these could be up to 20 minutes at times. Add to that some trailers and the public could have paid for as much as up to 28 - 30 mins of screen time they did not want.
