I just watched all three reels of "That's Entertainment"
1 & 2 appeared B&W, if there were any color scenes they were far and few but the reels appeared somewhat sepia or slightly red at times. Reels three had very little color lacking blue.

Curious if this was typical of this title or was the 35mm used faded?

i have all but one reel of this title, i bought each one separately for around £10 each, from what i gather this title was released at a time just before LPP was introduced. Please correct me if i am wrong,
Our reels do have excellent colour with b/w sections in the early years of the films story,however, one of the reels does have some fade, those that are on LPP are stunningly good. it has been a few years since i out these reels up so i shall view them this week and pop a few images for you to see Alan. This title can look very faded and sepia on the early prints by now,the later low fade prints look much better on screen and worth finding a copy,This was a popular title at the time so it was offered for sale by Derann for a number of years so with luck find a good one,Mark

I believe this title was distributed by different companies in the US and UK. Derann, of course, in the UK. I believe it was Ken Films in the US.

Alan, have a look at the film edge with a lupe or strong magnifying glass and I think you will see it is on Kodak SP or Eastman hence the warm looking colour bias.

The black and white scenes on the Derann Agfa print I used to own were slightly blue / green biased.

Since this title was also released by Ken Film (apart from Derann') I guess you are getting this release which we all knew Ken Film was always using Kodak SP.

I have this title and on Kodak SP hence has faded now.
