A Customer Sent me a GAF Projector for Repair. He Said it was Barely Running! Very Slow. So I took a look at it. To my Surprise I looked at the motor and took it off to check! Its the same motor as the Elmo GS1200. As I checked the motor the motor shaft was very stiff! It hardly moved. I took the motor apart. As I did it fell apart. It was completely burnt out Inside. So I put a New GS1200 motor in. And turned it on wow it ran perfect! I gave the machine a good running it ran just perfect! Not a bad machine. It had excellent sound and ran Quiet! That was the original motor. About 44 years old. It has a good lens a bIg F1.3 and a 150 watt lamp. I set the lamp on high. Boy did that picture look good! The machine does not have a Hi, Lo switch. So you have to set from the back of machine. By pulling off rear cover. So just Remember that the GAF and GS1200 have the same main motor! Review by Leon Norris.
