The Shalimar at Wildwood Crest is wonderful - I want to thank Maria and Aldo for their splendid hospitality - They truly take care of their guests. Happily, this was quite a nice gathering and everyone enjoyed good food and drink, choice company and a selection of excellent motion pictures - My unending thanks to Doug Meltzer for keeping it (and us), in-line [Smile] , and all of our close friends who are family. I'll leave to more intelligent commentary and photographs to those who do that best - Your co-founder and boss ("I can say that!") Shorty

Since I was only there for a little more than an hour, I did not get the full experience, so I am curious...how does everyone feel about this location vs. the Motor Inn? Was this a step up? Were showings better? Were the hotel rooms better? Is this the new place from now on? Or no, no, no, and no? haha. I'm curious what everyone thought!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved in making Cinesea 20 possible. As always, it was an incredibly pleasant time, and I am already counting down the days until Spring rolls around.

I look forward to seeing the photo recap.

I had a lovely time seeing everyone again, and the Shalimar seemed to work out very well, IMO. To find a new place with the right features, the level of service and the price to fit our needs, especially on short notice, is no mean feat.

A great show all around.

Claus.

It was a great weekend and my wife and I both had a great time!

I really liked being on the same floor with the show: I got a lot of stair work at the Ocean Holiday! What I needed was always two flights away from where I was!

A lovely time...in a nice location with great hospitality. As I always say, Cinesea is my favorite weekend. Can't say enough about the old and new friends that come to share love of film!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this get-together. Being at a new location, we all had to figure out placement of dealer tables, screen, projectors and snacks...

The folks at the Shalimar were wonderful, constantly checking in with us to make sure we were happy. They even removed hanging lights to eliminate shadows on the big screen.
The attendance was spectacular and we had our largest group dinner yet.

More details to come, however it's time to announce the start date for CineSea 21: April 17th, 2020
and yes, we will be returning to the Shalimar Resort & Conference Center.

Doug, you might want to say it is April 17, 2020, otherwise, we'll be every-other-year - Shorty

Claus was on the job with his camera: there will be pictures!

The photo essay at the end is basically CineSea‘s closing ceremony: it’s not officially over until you see it!

The most recent gathering was my first time ever I did really well with trades and adding stuff to my collection it was great meeting new friends and I haven't had that much fun with film and projectors in a very long time.

Although I took some time to get home to visit other friends along the route I am now back in Florida safe and sound I don't know when I will come to the next event because my trip up north recently was a special occasion dropping in at the convention was one added event that I was doing while traveling

To everyone that I met with and spoke with thank you very much it was indeed an absolute pleasure

I appreciate that. Rest assured I am working on the photos right now, and there will be a thread for them as usual.

Claus.
