DERANN APRIL 2006 NEWSLETTER

CANCELLATION OF BIRMINGHAM.
Yes that’s the sad and unfortunate news that I know has disappointed so many of our regular customers.
There are many rumours flying around as to the reason for this cancellation, but the truth of the matter was that there was a serious lack of dealer support.
It was a decision that was not made lightly, as it was still growing in size and popularity. However we felt it unfair to both customers and dealers, who had taken space, to go ahead and seemingly sell them short.
This will leave a hole, that in future years we hope to fill with an open day that will see a guest dealer in attendance!
Once more we apologise to those of you, who I know consider this to be one of best days of their busy convention going year.

However, life goes on and we are now able to give 100% to this years Northern Film Collectors Convention at Blackpool.
This year it celebrates 30 incredible years and we know that everybody will have a wail of a time.!!

NEW RELEASES!!
The highly sought after ‘Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit’ trailer plus the wonderful BBC ’Future Generations & The Runnaway Railway’ are now in stock and details of prices are inside this newsletter.
Also arriving will be ‘The Madagascar Penguins in A Christmas Caper’. This is a wickedly funny eleven minute CGI animated short that was shown along with the ’Wallace and Gromit’ feature and stars the four psychotic penguins, that made us laugh so much in the feature “Madagascar” Details once again are inside this newsletter.

NEW DVD FROM CHROMA
This month sees the release of a new DVD from Chroma video. Entitled “This is Cinema” it’s a collection of four shorts on one fast moving DVD. They include ’The Cinema in Miniature’, ‘A Cinema of our Time’ plus two new additions ’Moving Pictures’ and ’25 Years Film Collecting’ which was a ’Ten Best’ winner. Price £19.99.

WARNING!!!
We’re receiving letters and emails from customers who have had problems with films they have puchased off the internet, (auction or otherwise) . They say the descriptions given are far from the truth and in some cases many complain of large chunks missing! The problems really start when they attempt to contact the seller...and they don’t get any response.
Just be careful and remember established dealers will treat you fairly.

In closing, I’ve only time to let you know that this month we have a special on lens cleaning fluid at only £3.99 plus post and Packing..

A Happy and Peaceful Easter to every one.
