I remember seeing a 400 foot reel many years ago. Great digest!

There are two 400' Chainsaw digests. One was put out by Derann and one by Iver Films. The Iver one is a very packed reel and features literally all the murders -- while the Derann one is shorter and starts with the second murder scene (so the infamous meat hook scene is left out.) I prefer the Iver edit but the Derann prints have held up better as far as color. Oh, the Derann print includes a short Scars of Dracula trailer at the end for some reason. I think it's worth having both prints as well as the feature if you are a crazy completist (like I am!).

Jim - Because the Iver 400' digest is so packed with film, someone may have put yours on a 600' reel to make threading easier.

I must have seen the Iver Films version.

My Ivers digest is also on a 600' reel. The cutdown seems to be about 430'. The color has held up fairly well.
