Hi everybody,i was for the 2nd time re record Mickey's Christmas carol.
Everything goes fine and it was crystal sync....but far away i heard the old movie.
Is this normal???or is it better on the left side do a mono Dutch version and right a mono English version?because i think stereo is out of the question.
Let me know.

Cheers,
Jeroen

Jeroen, are you sure you have recorded in stereo? I once made the mistake of recording the new Norwegian track unto the main stripe, and then played the film with both tracks, which caused the English track on the balance stripe to "bleed through".

Well who’s on first? Yeah. Go ahead and tell me. Who. The guy on first. Who. The guy playin’ first base. Who. The guy on first. Who is on first! What are you askin’ me for? I’m askin’ you!

Hi Jeroen,

Just my initial thought...

This could be something to do with a slight difference in the magnetic head placement across the width of the tracks on the Bauer Vs. Elmo. It would appear the Elmo is picking up a signal not completly over recorded by the Bauer. You could try recording silence over the tracks by using the Elmo then go back to the Bauer for your pulse-sync recording.

Best,
Rick
