Jim, out of my curiosity....if you already have them on 16mm...why you need super 8? isn't 16mm is better than 8mm...or not?

So do you want one for one trade? However, many on your list are scope on s8 but are they scope on 16mm. Tot Watchers & Zoot Cat are not available on s8 as far as I know. How's the color on the 16mm's?

Jim, I have a lot of Tom & Jerry's on super-8 (but no scope).
I hope to find the time to go through my cartoons, because none of them is on my sales list yet.
If there are titles you are looking for, I'll let you know.

Jim, because a lot of the titles I have are in French (Film Office) or Dutch, I haven't got a list yet of all the titles I have.
I remember Winbert and JM once made a translation of these titles, but I hadn't had the time to look for that thread.
Here's a picture from my T&J collection.

One of the better things about the MGM 16MM digests is that that collector has the opportunity to collect the scope Droppy cartoons. Only two of them made it onto super 8, "Millionaire Droopy" and the much rarer "One Droopy Knight", both scope ...

... but I know that most (if not all) of the scope Droopy cartoons were printed in 16MM and they RARELY come up for sale anywhere! I saw a print of "Mutts about Racing" for instance.

Though Tex Avery left after "Millionaire Droopy" in scope (which was a remake of his previous flat version, minus one gag), Micheal lah, who took over the series for Tex, had worked with Tex for so long that the same quick gag structure continued on and these cartoons were actually quite good! In fact, Tex had storyboarded quite a few of these ahead of time, so in a matter of speaking, Tex was still there on the films. In fact, "One Droopy Knight", the first offical Micheal Lah directed Droopy, was nominated for an Acedemy Award.

Jim, although I would love to have the 16mm's, I know I shouldn't.
Since I'm clearing out great part of my collection, it wouldn't be wise to exchange these super-8 for 16mm.
I'm still busy making a list of all titles I have and then I must translate the French and Dutch titles in English.
Besides these 39 T&J cartoons, I also have a 800ft reel with 6 T&Y which I must list.
As soon as I made up the list, I will let you know.

Jim, since I responded to your thread, I would like to know if there are some titles you like to have. If not, others can have them.

it is kind of hard for me to get the titles since they are foreign titles is there a way to convert these to English so I can see if there are any I need?

Jim, if I check every leader, I can probably find most titles in English.
But that will take some time. Especially now I work almost constantly until februar 17th.
I will do my best.
