Cat’s Paw 200’ Col Sound B+/B £14 Could possibly a Derann re-print as this W.B.’s cartoon has a balance stripe whereas the original Techno releases only had a main stripe
The Dwarfs’ Dilemma 200’ Col Sound B+ £10 Here’s a novelty, this is a sounded sub-titled silent print, so if you’ve got any hard of hearing watchers, this is for you
Donald Duck in the High Andes 200’ Col Sound B+ £14 Good print of this Disney extract starring Donald Duck who’s travelling around S. America
Looking for Trouble 200’ B/W Silent B+ £14 Rare Snub Pollard short from 1914. He wants to impress the ladies with his Boxing, he stages a ‘rigged’ fight, but things go wrong, as usual!
Paramount News No.1 200’ B/W Sound B+ £20 This reel comes from 1946, it includes stories about:- ‘the Royal Navy lends France a Carrier for 5 years’ – ‘the Millionth Car made at Ford’s Dagenham plant’ – ‘George Formby judges a beauty contest’ etc.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant 200’ Col Sound B+/B £14 One of the best Disney animated extracts, as Dumbo realises he can fly,
Match of the Century 200’ Col Sound B+ £17 OB This is the best print I’ve seen of this ‘Bedknobs and Broomsticks’ extract for many a year, animated & live action combined
Goofy’s Glider 200’ B/W Sound B+ £20 OB Very rare F/L sound version of this Disney Goofy cartoon from 1940, Goofy has some fun and failures with his new sport of Gliding
His Mouse Friday 200’ Col Sound B+ £15 OB Walton print of 1951 Tom & Jerry cartoon, Tom is stranded on a tropical Island with at least one Mouse (Jerry) who dresses as a Cannibal
Arabian Nights Trl. 50’ Col Sound B+ £15 Colourful trailer to this 1942 fantasy starring Maria Montez, Jon Hall and Sabu, very rare now!
Ali Baba and the forty Thieves Trl. 50’ Col Sound B+ £15 Another colourful trailer, this time to the 1944 Arabian fantasy starring Maria Montez, Jon Hall & Turhan Bey, rare trailer!
Johann Mouse 200’ Col Sound B+/B £9 Tom & Jerry classic from 1953, Jerry lives in the house of composer Johann Strauss, while Tom his cat tries to capture him. Slight fade though
Tee For Two 200’ Col Sound B+ £17 Nice print (perhaps a Derann re-print?) of this 1945 Tom & Jerry classic cartoon, Tom’s playing Golf and use Jerry as his Tee
Tennis Chumps 200’ Col Sound B+/B £15 Pretty good colour on this 1949 Tom & Jerry cartoon, Tom’s playing a bully cat at Tennis, but it’s Jerry who ends up the winner!
Toy Tinkers – Pluto’s Christmas Tree 200’ Col Sound B+ £12 Nice print of this extract from the 400’ reel ‘A Walt Disney Christmas’, here we have two edited Christmas cartoons that feature the loveable Chipmunks Chip ‘N Dale, first up is from 1949 and features Donald Duck the second is from 1952, and Mickey’s dog Pluto goes through the mill at Xmas
Free as a Bird 200’ Col Sound B+ £14 OB Walton documentary that looks at the first ever Hang Gliding World Championships, some stunning aerial shots
Daffy’s Diner 200’ Col Sound B+ £14 OB W.B.’s cartoon from 1967 featuring Daffy Duck & Speedy Gonzales, Daffy has to find a real Mouse for his Mouse Burger for a mean Mexican Cat, the trouble is, the only Mouse around is the always hungry Speedy Gonzales, Oh Dear!
Lion Around 200’ B/W Sound B+ £20 OB Very rare F/L sound version of this 1950 Disney Donald Duck cartoon, Donald’s nephews use a Mountain lion costume to try and steal a pie from Donald’s kitchen, they’re caught out, but later when a real Mountain lion comes around, things get decidedly sticky
The Virgin and the Gypsy Trl. 50’ Col Sound B+/B £12 Warming colour on this fine Iver Films trailer to the 1970 film based on the D.H. Lawrence best seller starring Franco Nero
Two Gun Goofy 200’ Col Sound B+ £17 Good print of this Disney Goofy cartoon from 1952, Bandit Pistol Pete robs the local Bank out West, the town needs a Sheriff, in wanders Goofy
Three Little Words Trl. 50’ Col Sound B+ £17 Excellent Derann release of this trailer to the 1950 Biopic centring around the song writing team of Bert Kalmer & Harry Ruby, it stars Fred Astaire (Kalmer) & Red Skelton (Ruby) along with Vera-Ellen & Arlene Dahl, rare now!
Pete’s Dragon 200’ Col Sound B+/B £13 Pretty good colour on this 1977 Disney mix of animation and live action, it’s got music and comedy on one reel
Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too 200’ Col Sound B+/B £13 OB Pretty good colour on this Disney animation from 1974, Tigger is bouncing and bouncing, but has he gone too far!
The McMasters Trl. 100’ Col Sound B+ £15 Long trailer with good colour to this violent 1970 Western starring Burl Ives, Brock Peters and David Carradine, Iver Films release
Alice and the White Rabbit B+ £20 Nice print of this rare Disney extract from ‘Alice in Wonderland’, lovely animation, as Alice follows a running White Rabbit holding a watch!
Tweet and Lovely 200’ Col Sound B+ £14 OB 1959 Tweety and Sylvester W.B.’s cartoon, Sylvester is trying to invent a way to get to Tweety on top of a large pole guarded by Spike the Bulldog, let’s just say he’s not the greatest inventor ever!
Island of Mystery 200’ Col Sound B+ £15 OB Good print of this extract from the Disney live action adventure ‘Swiss Family Robinson’ from 1960 starring John Mills
The Aristo-Cat 200’ Col Sound B+/B £15 Reasonable print of this ultra rare Techno W.B.’s cartoon from 1943, a Millionaire’s pampered cat is left with the Butler when his master goes away, but the Butler is fed up with the practical jokes of the Cat and quits, this is where the fun begins, he doesn’t even know what a Mouse or Dog look like, 2 Mice take advantage!
Cat Napping 200’ Col Sound B+ £15 Brilliantly inventive Tom & Jerry cartoon from 1951, Tom’s all set to enjoy some sun in his Hammock, but Jerry beat him to it, the battle begins!
Knight-Mare Hare 200’ Col Sound B+/B £9 The print is a little light at times of this Bugs Bunny cartoon from 1955, an Apple lands on Bugs and transports him back to Camelot
When Sports Were King 200’ B/W Sound B+/B £20 Rare Reel Images print of this 1954 Robert Youngson short which has many archival clips from various sports (together with the stars of the day!) from the so called ‘Golden Age of Sports’ in the 1920’s, unusual reel
Stepping on the Gas 200’ B/W Sound £17 OB Rare sound version with music and effects of this 1927 comedy, the inventor Johnny Mack has come up with a new design for an engine that everyone wants, there’s good guys and bad guys, and a fight, I wonder who wins!
Herbie – The Love Bug 200’ Col Sound B+ £15 OB Pretty good print of this Disney extract from the original ‘The Love Bug’ that introduced ‘Herbie’ the loveable VW Beetle with a mind of his own, it stars Dean Jones, Michelle Lee & Buddy Hackett
Sky Sails 200’ Col Sound B+ £14 Documentary from i.e. international of Italy on the (then!) new sport of Hang Gliding, and still has a pretty good print too!
The Tortoise and the Hare 200’ Col Sound B+ £25 Super rare F/L Disney Sound Silly Symphony from 1935, based on the classic Fable of the ultra fast Hare and the slow but dependable Tortoise, this is early Disney animation at its best, still a nice print too!
Popeye and the Dragon 200’ Col sound B to B/B+ £12 OB Popeye cartoon from 1960, Popeye buys a suit of Armour to save Olive Oyl from a dragon
Futtocks End 200’ Col Sound B/B+ £14 OB Pretty good colour on this Walton extract from the Ronnie Barker & Michael Hordern ‘silent’ albeit for sound effects comedy
South Pacific Trl. 50’ Col Sound B+ £15 Nice print (Derann, I think!) of this re-release trailer of this Rodgers- Hammerstein classic musical starring Mitzi Gaynor & Rossano Brazzi
Look at Life – Holiday Camps 200’ Col Sound B+ £25 Rare Derann print of this 1964 ‘Look at Life’ which looked at the growing Holiday Camp Summer holidays, Butlin’s etc.
Eric Delaney and his new Band 200’ B/W Sound B+ £20 OB Made either in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s we see Eric Delaney leading his band, the first tune played is called ‘It’s a pity to say Goodnight’, unusual DCR Films music release
Danger is my Business – Alligator Wrestling 200’ Col Sound B+/B £17 OB Rare i.e. international release of 1958 documentary looking at an unusual native American activity
Carousel 200’ Col Sound B+ £13 Pretty good print of this Rodgers-Hammerstein musical from 1956 starring Gordon MacRae, Shirley Jones & Cameron Mitchell
Tweet Zoo 200’ Col Sound B+ £14 OB Tweety Bird is an exhibit at the local Zoo when Sylvester sees him, the chase is on through (the dangerous, for Cat’s) Zoo
Where There’s a Will 200’ B/W Silent B+ £14 Harold Lloyd silent comedy, a young Woman is being swindled out of an inheritance, she’s only got 24 hours to prove the money belongs to her, in comes Harold to help
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Mouse 200’ Col Sound B+ £15 OB Tom sick of Jerry stealing his Milk poisons it, but instead of killing him it turns him into a muscular beast, brilliant Tom & Jerry cartoon from 1947
The Two Mouseketeers 200’ Col Sound B+/B £15 OB Good colour on this Tom & Jerry animated classic from 1952, 17th Century France, Tom must guard food laid out on a Banquet table, if he fails and the Mouseketeers get to it, there’s only one punishment available, ‘Monsiour Guillotine’ eek!
Robin Hood rescues Maid Marion 200’ Col Sound B+/B £17 OB Good colour print of this Disney animated extract from there take on the ‘Robin Hood’ legend
Pinocchio Comes to Life 200’ Col Sound B+ £15 Pretty good print of this excellent extract from the Disney animated classic ‘Pinocchio’
