Were there real scope trailers made for the film? I mean in 2.39 ratio? The film was shot and shown in HD (ie - 1.78), slightly enlarged for flat 35mm prints to fill the 1.85 frame (some of the SD scenes were kept in 16/9). The one scope trailer I own of This is it! (in 35) is pillarboxed (black bars on both sides) as it was attached to some of Sony Pictures' 2009 summer releases in scope.

I didnt know that Jean-Marc, I was reading the review of it on here last week and assumed it to have been scope originally.
That said it makes sense that something like that would have been filmed in what was then the latest digital format.
