I am very disappointed! I had placed a bid for this film on ebay and than I've been informed it's been cancelled due to item no longer available. I wonder what is the purpose of advertizing every auction of this forum member (?) when in fact his auctions are consistently cancelled. It would be very unfair if all the PMs that have been going around were meant for some kind of private negotiations, IMHO. I don't think ebay regulations allow that. Is this OK with the forum regulations? Doug?!!!

As said previously, it's a tricky one is this Maurizio with no one technically violating any rules.
You do have my sympathy though with this one Maurizio, I have sampled both sides of the fence with these deals myself in the past and I fully understand your disappointment felt regarding this latest example of "using the loop holes" in the system. It's a feeling I have experienced on many an occasion by someone offering serious amounts of money for a much sought after title by many.
To be fair to Alberto he did not make any secret of the fact he was open to offers to avoid the heavy fees.
Maybe these type of high quality, attractive titled films don't need e bay in the first place to attract lucrative offers?
Wouldn't it be great if we had our own auction site here for films and equipment with zero fees involved for the seller. No arguments or upset then. Just a thought.

Technically... I agree, technically... Thank you for your simpathy anyway, Andrew but where is it that Carlo made it clear he was open to private offers? Have I missed something?

I'd have to look through the past few days of posts Maurizio but Paul highlighted this fact here on one of the deals done recently.
to be fair, if you haven't been glued to the recent high activity of sales on here from many different sellers, this detail could easily have been missed.
