Harrison Marks was a rather famous producer of these "glamour" films. Some of them I have ran across i wouldn't even call "porn" or "adult" as the models are simply nude, "frolicking about".

I got a large bunch of these coming in with some silent features from a friend, and I dared to watch a few, (not my usual film watching) and I am quite surprised as to how tame quite a few of these films are, especially when compared to what passes for modern "adult" (films (where everything and i mean EVERYTHING is done and portrayed).

Some of the more "high budget" ones even have the addition of subtitles that are funnier than heck to read. You know, along the lines of ...

"Hi, I'm yo plumber! I've come to fix Yo plumbing"
"Oooooh, you're tools are SO BIG!"

You know, that kind of corn. [Smile]

If i was ever to actually collect these myself, I'd just get one and one only, probably not to watch, but it would have to be a sound film, and I'd have top have on the soundtrack some of that wonderful 70's "wah wah" guitar soundtrack ...

You guys 50 and younger probably remember those cheesey adult films with that music that sounded like it was something Barry White would even touch!

Prefer the older 60's silent B/W seedy rented room type with amateur models and cameraman myself. In Britain in those days it was illegal, which made the film even somewhat special (if you like that sort of stuff!)
