Just thought that I'd add this to my list of super 8 optical sound features wanted.

Osi, I have a couple of popeye cartoons and an airline newsreel The sound is fine the picture on all of them has faded. Is this your experience or are any of your print LPP?

Almost all of my prints are either low fade or a very good film stock that i either caught at the right time (and stored properly so as to not have any impending fade), or i've just held onto a few partially faded prints because, well, i enjoy them. Grizzly Adams is on that list, though i'd LOVE to find an at least, decent colot print. [Smile]

The funny thing is that my print of "Moreau" is about an 8 out of 10 on color, but if i can upgrade, of course, so do. This print was kind of interesting as, there were two versions ...

There was a U.K. version and a U.S. version. The K version had more of the "naughty" scenes (so to speak, pretty tame though) between York and Carerra, where the S version didn't.

Also, I've noticed on my print that the color can vary a good deal from shot to shot. early on, when York is on the boat at the beginning, the first shots have him rather pinkish in the face, color wise, the very next shot of him after a shot of the land, has very nice colors for the faces as well as the ocean, so the color kind of ranges all over the place.

If I can find a good print, however, I'll try to find it as, this was a film that had a very rich color scheme overall and a very nice film to look at. The last one fourth of the film, however, has always had rather bland color overall. Ive had three prints of this film on super 8, and that least reel of the film has always looked mediorcre but still, one of my favorites from back then.
