Interesting maybe to know is that there are no splices except the laboratory splices so all credits are intact , same with movie. The image is perfectly stable , no up and down or left to right image movement during projecting noticed.

I'm certainly watching this, to be sure. Glorious colors on this print, THAT WILL NOT FADE AWAY!! I mean, I have seen kodachrome home movies from the late 1930's, and the colors are as perfect as the day they were shot! [Smile]

There are two versions from this movie on Super 8 - both realised in Germany. I think that the offered one could be a reverse print with only mono track (regarding the colours). The other one is on eastman lpp polyester and better in picture quality and includes the speach of Cecil B. DeMille.

Good to know they exist in both versions. But... it's all about finding one in great condition .. not damaged etcetera ..It took me over 20 years to get hold of one ... If I look at all these storms, hurricanes , earthquakes , tornadoes , flooding, I hold my breath. It's a human disaster. But in all fields of collecting, how many rare things are now also destroyed. In my hometown Ostend on the coast of Belgium, slowly we start to see flooding due to the earth warming up. In 20 days from now I'm moving to a brand new place in a Residence and on the fifth floor to feel safer. How many 10 Commandments still are in great collecting shape and available lately or on offer. I searched allover the Internet to find information, but could NOT find one single print being offered. If somebody can show me or give me a link with screen shots , please do. About the Cecil B De Mille opening shot. This shot can be added to this print, because filming these few minutes with sound or have it made should not cost a fortune. I wish also I kept the long promo trailer to put in front of this film. I had one with perfect colour and sound once from Derek at DERANN , so this also exists on Super 8.
