Thanks for the link. I used to edit on a 16mm Steenbeck, so it's great to see a Super 8mm model.

Not a good idea [Roll Eyes]

Funnily enough I've seen a 16mm Steenbeck used as a coffee table! Actually, it was the end result of one being used as such by a famous BBC That's Life presenter!

Arriving for the viewing of a final cut of an item for this programme the presenter (I won't give her name) placed a full cup of coffee on the feed plate nearest to her as she made herself comfortable. This was all very well until the film was run and the plates started revolving!!! [Eek!]
