Hi Folks,
I have a Bell & Howell "Autoload" Super 8MM silent movie projector but the lens is ruined. It is an 18mm-30mm f1.6 lens. I had bought a lens on Ebay but it didn't fit, even though the item said it had the same mm and "f" ratings.

I have lots of precious movies of my deceased parents that I would really like to watch, even though they are silent films. For my sound films, I guess I'll have somebody convert them to DVD, rather than buying a sound projector. I had a sound projector that I sent to a guy on Ebay who sells and repairs....he kept my projector and $100.00 of my money that I had paid for another projector.

Thank you,
Armando

Hi Armando, who was the eBay seller that ripped you off? Was it recently?

I do hope it wasn't "The Projector Workshop" as I have thought of using his service. Please tell us who ripped you off.
