I recently purchased a Sony Super 8mm Sound Recorder model 713 in mint condition. This is the exact model I had back in the 1970's when I first got into super 8 film.

It came complete with all the cables, resolver, Super 8 sync generator and 200 feet of super 8mm full-coat magnetic tape.

Anyone out there in Super 8 land know of any source for super 8 full-coat magnetic tape?

I haven't tried it yet, but super 8 sound film would probably work. There is plenty of old stock super 8 sound film for sale on Ebay.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Best Regards..
Bill

I wish I could help you out, as I have 2 x 1.000 feet of regular 8 magnetic fullcoat that I am looking to move...

Alexander....
I wish I could use it, unfortunately my film equipment is either super 8mm or 16mm. Out of curiosity, how much are you asking for it?
Best regards

Bill, I've been looking for it for some time.
Where you find it and at what cost?
I mean the recorder 713.
Thank you. [Smile]

Luigi..
Purchased it at an estate sale auction in unused condition.
I paid $250.00 USD and that included all the sync cables, the Elmo SA-1 Synchro generator, Super 8 Sound Resolver and 200 feet of unused full-coat super 8mm magnetic recording tape.
I just saw one on Ebay with a Beaulieu 7008s Pro Camera that closed with no bids. The buy now price was $1900.00 USD for everything. The Super 8 Sound Recorder was complete like mine.
here is a link to the one on Ebay. Once on the page, scroll down.
