Another great extract from YOU CAN'T CHEAT AN HONEST MAN, this naturally focuses on the scenes in the circus, mostly of Fields selling tickets from his booth, being showered by an elephant, and escaping from the sheriff. Edgar Bergen, Charlie McCarthy, and Mortimer Snerd are nowhere to be found.
Most of this can be combined with the 400 foot version from Universal 8 to create an almost half hour featurette that expertly condenses the movie to its essentials. My copy, however, is very dark, and it doesn't match-up well to the U8 footage.
