Hi I recently picked up this lot .
http://s1124.photobucket.com/albums/l565/Godbron/Westbrook%20Murphy/

I have looked at most everything except the films and was wondering is there a hand held device I can watch them on? I looked at a projector to try and view them but it looked complicated. Is there an easier way to view these? The films are 33-39 and say color 16mm on alot fo them. This guy was supposed to have been in WWI and WWII . The Boxes say Dr. G.W. Murphy but the pictures say Westbrook Murphy or Westbrook Murphys Unit. Thanks for any help.

Mark,

Welcome to the Forum!

Barry's right on the mark. Something similar to this should work for you.

Cool. Thanks, I will look for one of these. Some of the movies look like they could be interesting , some are labeled Cuba 1936 Color and various other places.

Hi. I check on ebay and found this thing. Will it work the same way or not really?

Mark,

The Moviscop viewers are nice (Although the one featured in that link is in need of repair), however this one would need a set of rewinds, which you'll need to hand crank the film while watching. It should look similar to this.

HAha! That is what I pictured in my mind as something I hoped it would look like!
