Every now and then (sadly not often enough) you get a 16mm film with amazing colour, clear loud sound and no lines. Here's my 45 second Droopy lead-in from the 1960's.It only runs for about 45 seconds but it's fun,I have spliced it on the start of a cartoon film "Aboott & Costello" animated TV episode
I am no expert on this so I may be wrong, but I think maybe this Droopy lead-in was done by Filmation in the 1980's (?). I had this same one and a few others, and the stock was LPP, IIRC, and the head of the lab leader had Filmation on it. I sold mine a few months back so I cannot check to be sure...
Either way, it has great color and is a nice intro for the A&C cartoon!
