Here is a rare chance to acquire some 16mm double perforated silent films from yesteryear. Some professional and some amateur.
All spooled, canned, and in good condition. films marked as "Part 1 only" appear to be two-reelers, but unfortunately the second part is missing.
The collection is being sold as one lot, the films will not be separated. They will only be sent to UK addresses via Parcelforce 48.

BLACK DIAMONDS 1936 100ft.
Amateur holiday film which appears to be on or near a farm. We see animals and a great old car. Many intertitles. The participants seem to be enjoying themselves.
BUSTER'S ORPHAN PARTY 1926 400ft
Part 1 only of an 18 minute film. Stern Brothers present a Buster Brown Special. This is the eleventh episode in the Buster Brown 2-reel comedy series. Buster, Mary Jane, and Tige the Dog gather a wagon-load of orphans and host a holiday party for them in this comedy from Century Films and distributed by Universal Pictures. Tige is played by Pete the Dog who appeared in 95 shorts and is best known for playing Spanky's dog in The Little Rascals. The ring around his eye was painted on each time, although it wasn't always the same eye!
HOLIDAY IN FLORIDA 1959 300ft Colour
Great holiday highlights in wonderful Kodachrome, Cypress Gardens. Water skiing. Somebody's treasured memories of yesteryear.
JASPER NATIONAL PARK 1930s 600ft
Not sure if a professional or amateur production of a hiking holiday. If amateur, the intertitles are certainly professionally made. No main title or end, but the many intertitles inform us of the holiday (?). Jasper National Park is in the Canadian Rockies, the party visits the Athabasca Glacier in the Columbia Icefield, Saskatchewan River, the Nigel Pass, Brazeau Lake, and they end at Jasper Park Lodge.
NINE ELMS LOCOMOTIVE SHED 1960 100ft Colour
Link Productions Limited. Edge marked as Kodak Safety Film, it is probably Ektachrome. Featuring the glorious days of steam! Locomotives at the Motive Power Depot of the Southern Railway which served Waterloo Station. It closed in 1967 after the end of steam working out of Waterloo on 10th July of that year. The site is now part of the new Covent Garden Market.
THE RIDER OF THE PASS 1925 350ft
Part 1 only, described by IMDB as a short western. Has a British Board of Censors certificate and stars Fred Humes (1896-1971). A cowboy tries to help a ranch owner and his daughter fight off a gang of rustlers preying on their land. However, he is at first mistaken for a visiting European prince and the for a member of the rustlers himself. Filmed at the Alabama Hills, Lone Pine, California by Universal Pictures.
THE RUSTLIN' KID 1925 400ft
Part 1 only. Described by IMDB as a short western produced by Universal Pictures. This is a Mustang Picture starring Fred Humes and complete with a British Board of Film Censors certificate.
STARS ON PARADE 1948 400ft
A Peak Films Production of the Film Garden Party at Morden Hall Park in Surrey organised annually by the Sunday Pictorial. Shows loads of British film stars of the time, plus a few visitors from the US. All introduced via intertitles.

The postage is £16.62 (They are heavy!).
