Well I found a really great present under the tree yesterday. My daughter got me a mint condition Pathe Baby cine projector (Le Cinema Chez soi). It is in beautiful condition for a 80 year old machine, and came complete with 10 pathex casettes. Now to get to work to clean and re-lube the mechanism, and re-wire the projector for modern halogen lighting. Then I will find out what gems exist on those 80 year old films!

I was amazed; 6 x 400ft Seven Brides for Seven Brothers in its original Ken box. I put it on my christmas list with a link to the dealers site that I had seen it on but it was all a bit tongue in cheek. I couldn't believe it when I opened it on Christmas morning.
Roll on next Christmas!

Really nice one Paul ! Mike: you have that odd gift that makes your wishes come true (re: "For the Birds" being released after you wished for it). This is getting both intriguing and scary.
Got some ---s that I'll sure enjoy with the ----- projector and my brand new Inferno Red 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser arrived earlier than expected. Woohoo.

Well Mike, it looks like Santa was good to both of us! I must say getting a super 8 feature is a pretty nice present. Hope you enjoy the movie as much as the box!
