I have often wondered why we can't do bold AND italics at the same time. It seems we can only do one or the other.
Second thing is, some words, mostly those of French origin require an accent above some letters. Is there some way it would be possible to introduce symbols or something into the UBB code?
Just a query!

David,
Actually, you can use both bold and italics at the same time. Use the bold UBB code first, then insert the entire response in the italics box. I never said this was quick. As for accents, I use the option button on my keyboard. Hold "option" down and type another letter at the same time and you can get (for example) ñ or é. See you on the Champs-Élysées!

Thank you, Doug.
Well, that seemed to work OK. However, I don't have an 'options' key on the keyboard - in fact I don't think I've ever seen one in the UK, but maybe I'm wrong.
Any suggestions?
I tried the shortcut from 'Word' using the Ctrl + the chosen key, but that doesn't work either.

"windows" is "command" (similar to "apple" on a Mac)/ "alt" or "altGr" (on the other side of the space bar) is/are "option"
