After watching "A Grand Day Out" on Super8 it reminded me of an amusing incident back in 1994. I was on a long haul flight the 747 was flying over Canada late at night the main cabin lights were turned off and just about everyone was trying to get some sleep the cabin was very still and quiet, well one gentleman was watching the screen and every so often their would be a loud burst of laughter through the cabin, [Eek!] then things would go totaly quiet for a short time then another loud burst, [Eek!] this passenger was having a great time, [Big Grin] of course to him he was in a different world with his headset on, [Cool] anyway this went on for a while until a cabin attendant went up to him and asked if everything was OK, it really seemed amusing at the time the film was "The Wrong Trousers" and was the fist time both Steven who was then 7yrs old and on the flight with me had watched a Wallace and Gromit film. I did manage in the end to get some sort of sleep only to wake up and find Steven gone, over half an hour later he returned, found out he had gone for a wander and one of the cabin crew had invited both him and another passenger to visit the flight deck he had been upstairs yaking to the pilots I bet you cant do that these days. [Smile]

Graham.

PS. Just remembered back in 1975 I was once on a flight Pan-Am from London to Seattle and the in flight movie was "Thats Entertainment" didn't think much of it I was a lot younger in those days and was not interested in old films, however [Roll Eyes] now I have it on Super8, 16mm and even DVD how times have changed have you ever come across a film like that, one day you were to own?
