I am always a little fascinated with the postal routes and how packages make thier way around ...

I have a package coming from our own Ackshay, and It is coming from Davis, California. It makes a trajectory from david, to Salt lake City Utah, (must be a major hub), then up to Boise, and then a short 30 minute drive to my own Mountain Home.

... however, my package (that I traded for his film), instead of going down to Salt lake City Utah, goes instead up to Denver Colorado, and then no doubt winds its way down to Davis California.

I'm assuming (perhaps inaccurately), that the sorting hub at Salt Lake City Utah, is one way hub, that is it accepts packages but does not accept packages from where it sends them?

I dunno, but it is certainly curious.
