Great, but where is he going to get this 70mm film projected I wonder? Cinemas have been globally binning film projectors this last 12 months, certainly over here and it’s a great tragedy. Anyone filming commercial flicks today using film is certainly dedicated to the art for sure and battling very heavy opposition within the industry to ‘go digital’.

Thanks Terry for the link.

Believe it or not!!

The science fiction classic as it was meant to be seen, in 70mm projection

I just found out recently that the TIFF ( a theatre complex in Toronto built to house the annual film fest) has 70mm projection capabilities.

I have set aside a Sunday in March to go see it!! very excited!!

Will also take in Vertigo that day too - also film projection.

Cheers
