1960's culture-shaping band The Doors would not have been what they were without the incredible sound of Ray Manzarek, legendary keyboard player, whose sound personified much of the late 1960's. Those who couldn't make the Whisky-a-go-go or the Fillmore were lucky enough to be treated to incredible performances by Ray and the band in Absolutely Live and The Doors are Open, the latter from the Roundhouse performance in London, both of which can still be bought of dvd. The 1960's would have not been the same without The Doors. Break on Thru Ray, you'll be sorely missed.
