There has been recent reference to The Great Grape Show. I thought members might be interested in the following.

For the 1975/6 US television season Hanna and Barbera re-introduced a less violent series of new Tom & Jerry cartoons for a one hour show called the Tom & Jerry Grape Ape Show. The show's co-star was a huge purple ape (voiced by Bob Holt) and his fast-taking canine associate, Beagle, (voiced by Marty Ingels.)

For each show there were three Tom & Jerry cartoons and two Grape Ape. The following listing is for the latter 'toons.

I agree Terry!

What's so ironic, is that Hanna-Barbera were the very people RESPONSIBLE for the original Tom and Jerry's when they originally worked at M.G.M.!
