Tom, congratulations on jumping into digital projection. The quality with Blu Ray discs is as good or better than the professional (digital) cinema. It will give you and your family great pleasure watching thousands of classic films that never have, and never will, be available on super 8 or 16mm. I got my first Digital projector 10 years ago, and still get a thrill every time I turn it on, the picture is superb. Like many here, I have found that film and digital perfectly complement each other. There is absolutely no need to lock yourself into one camp or the other. Both mediums have their own virtues and interests.
