Hi Guys,

I am looking for some of the following titles in Blackpool - wondering if someone might be able to help source them for me : Universal 8 cutdown copies of the following - need to be in good condition - Airport 75 (scope), Airport (scope) and the 2x400ft of Animal House. The full length prints of any of the following - Casablanca, Angels with Dirty Faces and King Creole. Finally on 16mm - The film versions of Man about the House and George and Mildred, Satanic Rites of Dracula and Dracula A.D 1972.

Hope someone might be able to help

David - unless you've heard otherwise, I'd be surprised if 'George and Mildred' made it onto 16mm, as I have a 1980s Filmbank catalogue and it's not in that. I've been looking out for 'Man About the House' myself for many years, but I've never known a print to be offered. It was in the Filmbank catalogue, so prints certainly used to exist, but I fear they might have all been destroyed along with most of that library. 'Satanic Rites' is definitely 'out there' - I have a print but I'm afraid it's not for sale!

Mark - I noticed the film you refer to and amazingly TW0 people were offering it, but both prints were 'A Man About the House' (1947) and not the 1974 Hammer film 'Man About the House'.

Adrian,
I just remember seeing the title, I thought it was the TV film with Richard O'sullivan(if they made one) as I'm not familiar with the other films of the same name, Mark

I wasn't familiar with the other one either until the first time I thought I was on the verge of buying the 1974 film but ended up disappointed! The 1974 film was one of the TV spin-offs made by Hammer around that time, along with the three 'On the Buses' films and others.
