Hello everybody ...

Yesterday, at about 1 p.m. I was rushed to the hospital as i couldn't catch my breathe, and at the hospital, i had a seizure, my first ever.

Therefore, though I'll do my best to have fun in the future on here, if you don't here from me as much, this is why.

The strangest thing is that i thought my hospital visit was just some bizzare nightmare, until i looked down at the leg this morning and saw some leftover hospital tape from where they inserted something into me. I have really no clear memories of anything from 1 p.m. until this morning when i got up.

I wish the best for everyone and keep on collecting

Osi,

One of my family members has a seizure disorder. I can tell you if this turns out to be a long-term situation, finding the right neurologist is critical.

Here's hoping it's just a side effect of some treatable condition.

God bless you.

Osi, I am r e a l l y sorry to hear about what has happend to you in the last 24 / 48 hours and hope that you are feeling a lot better. I am sure this thread is about to be inundated with well wishers from your 8mm friends from around the world.
I started contributing to this forum nearly two years ago and I must say,Osi,that you are one of a hand full of people whom I regard as the big "characters" of this forum. Some of your personal non film related material that you have shared with us (retaking your wedding vows, your amazing video's etc) are a joy to see.
Your health is now of prime concern. Okay, take a rest from 8mm for a while, but never forget we are always here and ready to talk.

Rest, do all the doctors tell you and get it sorted out. Time for the forum when you are feeling better.

Best wishes.

Do take things slowly.
Whilst we will miss some of your postings, do not overdo things until you feel well enough to do so.

I hope your seizure was an isolated incident. Lots of things can cause seizures. I truly wish you a speedy recovery and take you time...get rest...and don't worry about posting until you feel better. We will all be thinking about you.

Scary stuff. As Graham says, let's hope they can find a diagnosis and get you back to full health.

Take care.

Hi Osi - I've only just seen your post.

Of course I echo all the previous messages of support and best wishes for a speedy, but more importantly, complete recovery.

As I know how much you, like I, enjoy the forum in the meantime perhaps you can do what I have found just as useful and pleasurable since I have joined this excellent forum?

My original intention was to be an active participant on here. However, as my elderly mother's main carer I have found that I have far less time these days than I use to have and therefore can't participate as fully as I would really like to. That said, I just dip in and out of the forum, when time permits, and although I don't have the time to reply or comment on all the messages that I would like to, I still find it very enjoyable and feel connected to the rest of the forum - even if it's only as a 'voyeur' for now! [Smile]

So please take care and look after yourself - and happy 'window-shopping' on here....when you get the urge [Wink]

Ali.

Osi,

All the best in your recovery; the right treatment is a great first step.
