The disclaimer of "“No Animals were harmed during production of this movie bla....bla...bla.."

How far this is true?

I just watched "Thank you for your service" yesterday and there was a scene where the main actor visited the dog fight arena. Two dogs were fighting and biting each others.

The dogs must have suffered for this fight, and it is almost impossible they were robotic dogs due to the film budget.

So any idea how far the animals are not harmed in a making of a movie?

I always thought it would be funny to have in the credits of the film ...

"Lots and Lots of animals were maimed abused and verbally assaulted during the making of this picture ... nyeah nyeah nyeah!"

(just to see if anyone would be actually paying attention) [Smile]
