After reading the excellent reviews of the Blu-ray release on this 2005 film, it arrived this week.
"Sophie Scholl" is a German film with English subtitles. The story is based on real life events, and the activities of the White Rose resistance group in 1943.
Its gripping stuff and certainly one of the best movies I have watched this year. If you have never seen it, then I would highly recommend it, It really is an incredible story of courage.
