Half of one percent of theatrical movies are shot on film but win 50% of the awards.

Ouch.

But if film is so alive, why can't I go see a movie in 35mm anymore?

What a great niche, but it's sadly only a niche.

Yeah, inferior motors? I don't think so. It's their silly pressure plate inside the Super 8 cartridges that's got the nasty reputation.

That was very interesting Dominique [Cool] The thing is though, is that if you are going to make movie using actual "film" then it really does need to be projected in the end on a film projector.
