Our archivist and forum friend Dino Everett is being honored this week at the 2018 conference of the Association of Moving Picture Archivists in Portland, OR. (See their website.) He's being presented with the William S. O’Farrell Volunteer Award for making "significant contributions to AMAI and to the field through volunteer efforts."

Nice photo and bio on the awards page:

Congratulations, Dino!

Congratulations Dino, well done. Where would us film lovers be without those who work to save and restore films? Film collectors have saved many a film from oblivion. I think it is great that you are being recognized, you deserve it.
