Yesterday we went and signed all the final paperwork for our big move, so within 3-4 weeks we will be moving, so no new lists immidiatly, I'll get another list with my new telephone number and address as soon as I can. So we're off to Weely in Essex very soon!

Thanks for the reply Tom, it's good to hear from you.

I'm actually working on a new list now, so once settled I'll be able to send the new list off to the printers quickly.

Now to fill up the skip we've got coming, 30 years of rubbish that's been garnered, it's amazing what gathers dust, some things you don't even know you've got. The trouble is originally 30 years ago there was 5 of us, all with our own nick-nacks, now only Michael and myself, so plenty to get rid off/downsize, as you do!

Good Luck ☘️ on your move Barry. I know what it like clearing house after years. of collecting. It’s amazing what you gather and keep. It will be a fresh start for Michael and You.

Well we'vfe finally got a move date, it's Monday 22nd of July.

Our new address is as follows:

Independent 8
34 Thornberry Avenue
Weeley
Clacton-on-Sea
Essex
CO16 9HW

I'll know my new telephone number within 72 hours, so I'll add that as soon as I know. Now the work really starts!

Please use the current address and telephone number until that date for any orders or enquiries.

It's CO16, not CO19.

Dear Maurice,

At least your on the ball, I've corrected it, but thanks for letting me know I made a mistake, it's all go here at the moment.

We're about 15 minutes from the seafront, just enough to get away from the Summer holiday makers, but close enough to all the amenaties.

My in-laws used to live in Clacton and we spent many happy holidays there. The kids loved the attractions on the pier. Hope you settle in well. When you're exhausted you'll be able to wander along the beach!

Hi Barry i hope your house move went smoothly.

Like i said to you over the phone recently just take your time and don't overdo things my friend.

I know how stressful house moves can be. I have been in my current home for three years now and i am still unpacking things yet.

Cheers

Dave

Dear Dave,

Not moved yet, we go on the 22nd of July, but things seem to be progressing quitw well. We're on our 4th skip, so much rubbish accrued over 30 years, my film shed has never looked so tidy. Thrown a lot of things, but found a few nice bits and pieces too I'd forgot I even had, inc. a nice Elmo 1200-D projector, that I'm having serviced. As soon as I get on my feet in the new house I'll get a list out.

Hi Barry and hope the move goes well and as smoothly as possible.
I'm in the midst of the same and it's an ongoing saga - I just hope that both our moves are kind to our film collections and projectors!

Good-luck!

No news on the new Telephone number yet, I suppose Talk Talk has got to buy one off BT, but as soon as I know it I'll let everyone know. Please don't forget that the 01992 652792 number will no longer work from Monday 22nd.

As I sit here surrounded by boxes (over 120 and counting) I've realised that I haven't worked as hard in Donkey Years and it's only really just starting, what with the actual move on Monday, then it's new carpets, new racks for our Blu-Ray & DVD collection, then eventually will come Film Shed 2.0 which will be bigger (hopefully, better!) than my current one, which has lasted for nearly 30 years now. Now the hard work really begins!

I'll see you all on the Flip Side.

Chip,

You must have been tired at the end, I'm only moving 69 miles, that's enough for me.
