Well, they did: there's one on eBay. Even comes with some films. Maybe that's old news to you serious 9-fivers, but with all the frequent talk about Pathe it's interesting to see a different but familiar name in the mix.

It's made in Germany, is that unusual, as I thought they had always been in Austria. Eumig also made one 16mm projector.

The Eumig P1 was introduced for 9.5mm in 1932, it was hand driven but later a motor was available as an accessory.

In 1934 the P2, originally called "Alpha" came on the market.

Near the end of 1935 the P3 was introduced. It is this model, I think, which is the one on eBay. The rather poor photo does not help to see if it has a model number.

In 1938 "Made in Germany" was placed on its products, not "Made in Austria" as before. Austria had now become a part of Germany.

I have an Eumig 9,5. It's a wonderful machine.
