Chris Bird will be presenting a 28mm talk and show on a rare Victor Safety Cinema. He will be showing The Race of Policemen and The Raid on Train 522 from 1911. The 9.5mm show will be presented by Dave Wyatt and will include some shorts that are exclusive to 9.5mm, also a Betty Boop cartoon. This may be projected on the Eiki converted projector mentioned by Dominique in his Harpenden thread. Something for everyone.

Not if you actually want to take care of the films ....The KOK has a giant sprocket wheel that will stress and eventually tear the perfs on 100 year old 28mm films, where as the Victor (like the Pathescope Premier) is extremely gentle on the old films...The KOK is a beautiful machine, but when you are regularly running your old 28mm prints like Chris (and myself) you need a machine that is gentle.
