I'm new to this forum although I've followed all the comments for quite a few years. Everyone seems so knowledgeable so please forgive me if I appear a bit dense.

I have a Pathescope Vox projector that has been converted to a photo-diode. However the diode is badly scratched and needs to be replaced. Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement diode for this machine?

My technician who has converted all my Vox machines to photo diode used the P/D from Eiki 16mm machines he reckons they fit well and work great with the transistor amplifier he fits to them.

Hi Mike. Thank- you for answering my cry for help. I will seek out an Elki and Cannibalise the diode.
