Something strange here.
The original Super 8 release from PM Films is almost a full 400ft and it, of course, runs at 24fps.
The film here on sale is quoted as 200ft and runs at 18fps. As Dominique says, it could be a digest version.
My PM copy starts the same as shown:- "Light Out ...", and then mixes to "and the stars appear".
The box looks something like a Derann box. Did Derek do an editing job on this one? Anyone know?

Panayotis, I'm curious to know if it's an incomplete version or another one
Thanks to Maurice, it appears that thé title could be the one we know but the 18 fps remains a strange thing.

I echo Maurice's comments. I was also puzzled by this. We all know the film and I don't remember Keith Wilton getting a mention? I also don't believe this is a Derann release, but Derann may have sold it and just used a spare box and wrote on the side. If Derann was planning to do a mini version, why would they make it 18fps? Therefore I think the 18fps is a mistake. This could just be the first 10mins of the film that somebody stuck on a 200ft reel because the rest got damaged?

Some good points made by Graham.
The review I have includes:-
"A documentary film made to commemorate the Golden jubilee of 9.5mmm in 1973 and filmed by John Burgoyne-Johnson, and produced by him and Gordon Clarke. It gives a detailed history of the gauge and includes interviews with Alan Caister, Paul van Someren, Gerald McKee, Ivan Watson, Patrick Moules, Ken Valentine and Larry Pearce. It includes a clip from the 9.5mm sound Land Without Music ".
No mention of Keith Wilton, however, if I remember correctly when I last ran my copy the interviewees are not named.

but was reluctant to go too high without knowing more details about its history. I also have 2 full copies on a 600ft reel so this would only be a curiosity. But now Im still curious about it, hopefully we can still find out about it, and if there are more [Roll Eyes]
