I have a Derran print of THE WIZARD OF OZ, and although the print quality is excellent, the black and white portion has a definite blue tint to it; I know this is due to the problem of using color stock for B&W. Are the Ken film prints done with B&W stock? I could probably correct my print a little by using a filter, but that's just another thing to fiddle with while showing a film. My Derran print is recent-are the older prints any better?

My copy of Wizard... has the B&W section on B&W stock, there is a definate splice where it changes to colour. I always assumed that it was a Derann print but maybe not. I'd be interested to know if it is in fact a Ken print because the colour has held up very well, much better than the Ken prints in my collection.

Mike.

Found many Derann releases on the Agfa Poly stock have this blue look. [Frown] I have a copy of The Dambusters which is printed on Agfa stock and its dead neutral. [Smile] Hope it stays that way.
