hello everyone,i need your views on how to get two channels from my elmo to the kenwood 5050 amp.i know that the 1200 end has 3.5mm jacks and the amp is of course phono.i would needto know what are those cables called;ie what do i ask for.perharps another member could help me out here.i contacted my local maplins but due to me not knowing what to ask for i draw a blank.please help.andy.

I believe you need a pair of these...

Then you just need an ordinary pair of phono hifi leads used with every modern stereo system.

Once you have all this use the jacks at the back of the Elmo rather than those next to the power input as they sound better. Also gives you control of treble and bass as the jacks on the back come off the internal amp.

youre kidding aint you?.the pulse sync is now impossilble to get hold of.even if i did have one i dont think ive the know how to use the pulse sync machine with the gs1200.andy

They are still available from a Guy in Germany who builds them privately.
Also try Wittners in Germany as they also sell their own version but at a higher price. I'll try and locate the email address of the other guy for you.

Kevin, get Andrew Pedro's email address. With Pedro's little box of tricks Andrew you'll be amazed how simple sync' pulse is. Connect the box to the ESS port, flick the ESS switch to ESS and press PLAY. All you then need to do is have the video source and the Super 8 running in sync'.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Units are built on order, so you have to wait for a while before actually receiving it.

It took about 15 seconds to learn how to use it from Kev at a passed BFCC.

From what Ugo told me a while ago, Pedro was working on a new, more reliable version that needed an external power source (as opposed to the current - pun intended - one that runs on the projector's power).

And the NTSC version seems to be available now...
